The Twelfth Society of Hematologic Oncology (SOHO) Annual Meeting will offer presentations and sessions focused on the latest developments in hematologic oncology and practical clinical applications of new research. The meeting will feature speakers who are a “multidisciplinary group of internationally recognized experts that represent the spectrum of these diseases,” SOHO officials said. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Translating Knowledge Worldwide” as it relates to the field of hematologic oncology. The hybrid event offers in-person and virtual attendance options.

The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2024 will feature presentations and talks by international experts who will provide updates on new breakthroughs in basic, translational, and clinical cancer research. The program will “foster exchange and debate of translational cancer science, showcase first announcements of potentially practice-changing data and stimulate multidisciplinary discussions to improve treatment options for our patients,” ESMO officials said.

The 2024 American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) Annual Meeting will feature educational and scientific sessions, networking opportunities, as well as new and expanded offerings. The theme of this year’s meeting is “Targeting Provider Wellness for Exceptional Patient Care.” The theme was chosen because “being well, treating your physical and mental health as a priority, and living to achieve work-life balance all go a long way toward helping us to serve as a role model for our patients,” ASTRO officials said. “During the meeting, we will highlight various aspects of provider wellness and correlate how that impacts patient care.”

JADPRO Live 2024, the Annual APSHO Meeting, is designed for and by advanced practitioners including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical nurse specialists, pharmacists, and advanced degree nurses. The event also welcomes hematologic oncology nurses, students, and physicians. The meeting features presentations, special sessions, opportunities for advanced education and networking, and more.

The 2024 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) will bring together clinicians and researchers from around the world for panel discussions, presentations, poster sessions, and more. The SABCS meeting features critical research updates on improving the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer, evidence-based care considerations, and other important information on breast cancer for oncology nurses.

The 66^th American Society for Hematology (ASH) Annual Meeting and Exposition will offer critical updates on the latest treatment and research developments in hematologic oncology. The ASH meeting features plenary lectures, educational sessions, workshops, poster presentations, trainee activities, and more. It offers in-person and virtual attendance options.

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month, which makes it an ideal time for providers to help ensure patients are up to date on cervical cancer screenings. The 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Gastrointestinal (GI) Cancers Symposium will feature presentations on the “latest innovative science and solution-focused strategies in the GI cancers field,” as well as daily sessions offering multidisciplinary perspectives, poster presentations, and more. The symposium, which offers in-person and virtual attendance, “features speakers across disciplines, putting the science into context and providing a truly holistic view of the latest advances in GI cancer treatment, research, and care,” according to ASCO.

The 2025 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Genitourinary Cancers Symposium will feature updates on emerging treatments, clinical trials, evidence-based practices, and more. The symposium offers opportunities to “gain new insights to help provide your patients with the most evidence-based and effective treatment options available,” according to ASCO. The symposium provides in-person and virtual attendance options.
